30 May 2011 - GlobalX announces PPSR solutions (via PPSRcheX)

The new Personal Property and Securities Act comes into force in October 2011. Customers within our commercial community will have access to a full suite of products and services to assist with the registration and ongoing management and protection of their assets.

For owners of securities within non-migrated registers, and for anyone who will need to register a security after 10 October, 2011, there are two key elements of the PPSR - registration of security interests and searching the register. In order to protect your business interests, you need to ensure those securities in which your business holds an interest are properly registered (either pre- or post-PPSR commencement), and that your business processes support the ongoing, systematic registration and management of existing and new security interests.

GlobalX is offering a range of pre- and post-PPSR commencement solutions to assist you to register, manage and protect your security interests as efficiently as possible. These are outlined below.

PPSR Access Interfaces Offered by GlobalX

GlobalX will provide multiple interfaces through which you can access our PPSR solutions:

• XML/Web Services integration - for those wishing to automate and integrate PPSR functionality and data into existing internal facilities and services.
• Online via a secure portal - for those wishing to login to, register and search within a secure website. Business and individuals will have the option to register and search for single registrations, or in bulk, via our batch services.
• Manual Services - for those wishing to outsource registrations to a manual search agent for lodgement. Business and individuals will have the option to register for individual registrations, or in bulk, via our batch services.

The Online and Manual Services options also provide integrated access to GlobalX's extensive range of online search services, which are detailed further in the GlobalX PPSR Products and Services Guide.

Some of GlobalX's pre-PPSR Go Live Products and Services include:

• Pre-load for bulk registration of non-migrating registers at Go Live
• Data Cleansing Services - validation, verification and pre-population of information from a range of databases including NEVDIS, ASIC, ABR and others
• Find and Claim Services
• Alerts

GlobalX is also developing a range of solutions directly from the PPSR's B2G service. These include:

• Lodgement Services
• Registration Services
• PPSR Search & Report Services
• Alert Services
• Verification and Validation Services
